The start of the school year has been positive for athletes of Clifford School. Our Middle School soccer teams, both boys and girls, are off to a great start, and competitive in all of their matches. Clifford High School volleyball teams are working hard and improving with every event they take part in. The experience of meeting students from other schools and enjoying the benefits of sport is again proving to be positive experience for our athletes.

We will be beginning our preparations for the annual November track meet after the October break. The physical education classes are running smoothly, with a new timetable and a total contingent of six teachers in the program. We are looking forward to an exciting and rewarding year, for both students and staff. Jr. Girls Soccer Team: Mr. D’Abramo, Ms. Finch and Ms. Hipwell are working with ‘Under 14’ girls soccer team. With his excellent soccer training and background, Mr. D’Abramo provides the knowledge and skills preparation that will be invaluable for these girls to be successful in this exciting team sport. We have competed in a number of games including a tournament this past weekend. The girls have progressed very well in their understanding and abilities, and ‘win or lose’ the girls are showing great teamwork, success and are having fun at the same time. We look forward to the remaining games and an awesome season. Keep those goals coming, girls!
